GUYS. IT’S 2019. THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING. I’M NOT PREPARED. *passes out* Seeing as this is the first post of 2019 (mmm, such prestige), I guess this is the moment where I scrape together something meaningful I learned in 2018, accented with pictures no one cares about and a teary-eyed epilogue of cliché sentimentalism about [...]

Hey, You!

–I’M SARAH–

Oddball sarcasm enthusiast, INTJ, and Christian author/artist combo. I’m a paradox in human form, a purveyor of caustic wit, a reluctant people-lover, and an idealistic cynic who sees the world through cracks in rose-colored glasses.

A year ago today, I joined the @story_embers writing team. This forced me out of my self-constructed cave of authorial isolation, where I’d made a full time hobby of hissing at strangers and assuring everyone my writing “really is good, I promise!” despite never actually letting them read it.
The time for mysteriousness is over! I can bring this joyful secret to light! Friends, I’M ILLUSTRATING A PICTURE BOOK!!!
2023 began with the loss of my grandmother.
Thanks, 2022. Let’s do it again sometime.
