Happy Bloggabirthday to Everyone // an internet scavenger hunt

Well hello, my humans! Three years ago, this internet train-wreck crashed into my life, turning me into a psycho blogging zombie and changing the world forever.

Although actually, that’s not entirely true.

If we’re being technical, my blog turned 3 waaay back in February. I was in the throes of life chaos at the time, and through one thing and another, never got around to doing a bloggiversary post. (Oops.) In the long run it’s not a huge occasion, but still, it means something. THREE YEARS, people. I didn’t think I’d last three weeks, let alone three years, and the tenure of my survival is mostly thanks to you guys.

(And Anna’s persistent nagging.)

So despite how late it is, I would be remiss if I let 2020 pass without doing something to celebrate three years of contributing to the glorious chaos of online creativity. Mostly, I would be remiss if I didn’t manage to thank you all for sticking with me and reading my exhausted 2 A.M. rambles and laughing at my jokes even when they’re incredibly dumb. Bloggiversary posts are usually sappy and boring, but I want to do something different, something fun. Something we can all enjoy.

So. As a token of my colligate love, appreciation, and respect, I put together a little adventure. A scavenger hunt, if you will, spanning the depths of my blog and internet presence, with lots of secret loveliness awaiting you at the end.

If you’re not a puzzle person…

I promise this won’t be hard. (And if you do get stuck, you can always email me. I’ll help you.)

Here’s how it works:

Somewhere in this post, you’ll find a clue. It will lead you to another clue, which will lead to another, etc. and so forth. Study each post carefully, but don’t think too hard about it – if the clue looks obvious, it probably is. (More involved puzzles will have instructions.) Remember, my blog has a search bar. The search bar is your friend. The search bar wants you to use him. Also, some clues will take you to places outside of my blog, but don’t panic. All will be revealed in good time.

  5. Happy (VERY LATE) bloggabirthday! (which sounds wayyyy cooler than ‘blogiversary’, just saying 😂).
    This hunt is SUCH a good idea! I recently did a Q&A on my blog and mannnn it was boring for everyone, I think 😅 But anywho! I shall leave now, because I’m going on an adventure! (If you understand my attempt of using that reference *coughs*)

      Heh, bloggabirthday was the result of some VERY late night brainstorming. I’m still not entirely sure why I ended up using such an exhausted decaffeinated idea, but here we are. 😁
