In Between

Happy February, guys!

Unfortunately, you don’t get anything interesting today. I’m planning to do a longer post on Saturday, because it’s *YEEP* my one year bloggiversary. Which is kinda cool. So this is me, officially telling you to stay tuned:

*dramatic pause*

Stay tuned.

In the meantime, have a look at this cool survey thingy, put together by the one and only Daeus Lamb, a writing pal and staff-member of the legendary Kingdom Pen.

The Better Books Survey

Share your opinions as a reader on what makes good fiction, and help us writers better our work and create the kind of stories you love.

*blinks*

Wow. That sounded rather professional.

The point is, check it out. Pass it on to your friends. You get a free book at the end, so… woot woot for that. The survey closes February 15.

Anyway.

Stay tuned for Saturday.

  1. Okay. So I am pretty sure I don’t really want to know the answer to this…but I feel compelled to ask anyway….WHY does your post have a tag thingy called CRABBY COWS??? *blink blink* ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Child, you just get weirder by the day…๐Ÿ˜˜

  2. Very interesting survey. The questions were insightful. I opted out of the free book…cause…I don’t know anything about it. But I like that idea, giving back to those who’ve helped you by taking the time to do a survey.

I wonder who’s going to read all the answers, though? And how many writers will benefit from it? Or suppose there’s a lot of contradictory input…

    Well, we’ll see. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. I think the results will probably be posted on Kingdom Pen. At least, that’s what Daeus did with his last survey. He’s quite good at these things, so I’m sure he’ll figure it out.

      I’ll keep you posted. ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Also, I came on here to make a blog post…and 30 minutes later, I manage to disentangle myself from the swarm of Kingdom Pen articles and remember what I was even doing here in the first place. *shakes head dazedly*

  3. Alright, I get the point. Stay tuned ๐Ÿ˜‰. I really liked that survey, and it was kind funny how many genres of books that I had to leave empty. I never realized that I read basically 3 types of books. Anyway, I’ll stay tuned.

    1. Heeeey! I was going to message you on Kingdom Pen, but for some reason, I can’t seem to find your profile. So this was the only other way I could think of to get in touch. I apologize for the horrible setting. ๐Ÿ˜›

ANYWAY, I haven’t seen you around anywhere lately, and while I know you’re probably still on hiatus, I just wanted to say that you’ve been in my thoughts lately, and I miss you around there and am praying for you.

I apologize for the weird randomness of this. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ *ducks out*

      1. wow I was just looking through my unread notifications on wordpress and literally just now saw this. lol anyway yes Emily and I had to delete our accounts on KP around Easter of last year. I wish I had seen this then but it was still kinda cool to see it now. Just want to say I’m always grateful for your posts and everything. Your writing is a great encouragement to me because I feel like so much of the stuff written today is total junk. You are a awesome writer and it’s always good to see a young writer who knows what they are doing. So yeah, I’ll apologize for the weird randomness of this reply which is over a year to late but anyway thanks for your prayers and thinking of me.

  4. Oh yes, ’tis a cool survey. *vigorous nod* Take it if you’re a bookworm, and if you’re not, I’m not sure why you’re on this blog. ๐Ÿ˜‚
And…your first bloggiversary. That’s awesomeeee. *stays tuned*

  6. So I’m reading this AFTER I read your bloggiversary post for some reason… anyway. Moral of the story: I am weird.
